Research activities:
Neutron Generator

At present the neutron generator works in (d,d)-mode and supplies 2 - 3 MeV (approx. 3 • 10¹⁰ n/s). At the end of 2001 (d,t)-mode will be put into operation. The neutron generator will supply 13 - 15 MeV neutrons (approx. 1 - 1.5 • 10¹² n/s). The neutron generator NG-12-1 operates in two modes: continuous and pulse ones. The pulse of neutrons t can be varied from 5 msec to 100 msec and the pulse repetition can be changed from 5 to 1000 Hz.
