Fusion research activities focused on the development of superconducting magnet for KSTAR (Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research; Korea national fusion program, Lead Institution: KBSI) device.

Other plasma research activities are on various plasma and accelerator applications such as Electro Power Impact, Electron Beam Accelerator and Klystron for KOMAC.

Fusion research activities focused on Computational Fusion Plasma Analysis:

• Numerical code development for tokamak plasma equilibrium and transport

• Numerical simulation of fast wave current drive (FCWD) in tokamak plasmas
