Korea Superconducting Tokamak Advanced Research (KSTAR)

Project Mission:
The mission of the KSTAR project is to develop a steady-state-capable advanced superconducting tokamak to establish the scientific and technological basis for an attractive fusion reactor as a future energy source.

Hanbit Joint User Facilities

``Hanbit'' Tandem Mirror device is in operation for basic studies of high-temperature plasma physics, RF and microwave heating, and diagnostics development, as well as plasma applications such as high-temperature testing for tokamak divertor in CUSP.
