The International School of Plasma Physics `Piero Caldirola' is a foundation instituted in 1971: its aim is the organization of courses, workshops and international conferences on basic plasma physics, controlled fusion, plasma astrophysics, cosmology, industrial applications of plasma physics, relationships between science, philosophy, theology and promotion of international co-operation in these fields.
