Abstract. Studies of (3,2) and (2,1) Neo-classical Tearing Modes (NTMs) in
JET are presented. The effects of plasma shape and edge safety factor
(
q95) on the -limits set by NTMs are addressed, as are
results on the effect of ICRF heating. For the (2,1) NTMs initial
comparisons with the -limit thresholds from the DIII-D tokamak are
presented.
