Research activities:
The UT Plasma Sciences Laboratory is engaged in theoretical and experimental research on electric-field dominated plasmas, the interaction of radiation with magnetized and unmagnetized plasmas, plasma aerodynamics, gas blanket and atmospheric pressure plasmas, arcjet and torch thermal plasmas, beam-plasma interactions, and industrial plasma engineering.
