Research activities:
The research is performed in the field of plasma-surface interaction with the emphasis on erosion/deposition phenomena, tritium inventory, impurity production and transport in the scrape-off layer plasma. It also comprises related studies of plasma facing materials and components. The group is specialized in studies of surfaces subjected to the plasma and in the application of collector probes for measurements of ion fluxes in the plasma boundary. The work is performed in a close co-operation with the TEXTOR (Jülich) EXTRAP-T2 (Stockholm) and JET-EFDA Teams.
