Research activities:
The main areas of research are:

1. Confinement studies of high magnetic field tokamak plasma and the establishment of scaling laws;
2. Studies of plasma current sustainment for steady state operation of a tokamak fusion reactor;
3. Development of fusion engineering and technology for superconducting tokamaks;
4. Studies of thermal and particle flux control in steady state operation;
5. Studies of plasma-wall interaction and development of fusion reactor materials;
6. Theory of Turbulent Transport and Structural Formations.
