Research activities:
The main direction of the investigations is the theoretical study of physical processes in tokamaks, spherical tokamaks, and optimized stellarators, where high-energy ions are produced by fusion reactions, neutral beam injection and/or RF fields. Both analytical and numerical methods are used. The investigations include the study of plasma stability and transport processes, sawtooth oscillations, ignition scenarios and thermonuclear burn in reactor-tokamaks, and quasi-linear or non-linear processes in plasmas.
