Research activities:

1. Tokamak Experiments
   • Collaboration with NSTX on the plasma current ramp-up
   • Collaboration with TRIAM-1M
   • Collaboration with MAST on the plasma current ramp-up
   • AC tokamak experiments in the STOR tokamaks. (Collaboration with University of Saskatchewan, Canada.)
2. ITER Activity
   • Feedback control for ignited operation in ITER with diagnostic systems
3. Reactor Oriented Activities
   • Plasma current ramp-up by the vertical field in a spherical tokamak reactor
   • Conceptual design work on D-³He tokamak reactor including AC operations
   • Conceptual design work on helical reactor with D-T and D-³He fuel
