This publication provides an updated overview of changing global attitudes towards nuclear power and of potential developments in the nuclear fuel cycle. It analyses the impact of such developments on the sharing of facilities for disposal in the framework of the long term management of spent nuclear fuel and high level and long lived nuclear waste. The scenarios proposed, drivers and frameworks are discussed, as well as their successful implementation and the expected benefits and challenges.
