Research activities:
Fusion related research is continued at the Faculty of Physics, University of Belgrade in co-operation with the Institute of Physics, Zemun and Center for Science and Technology Development (CENTER), Belgrade. The main fusion related research is conducted in the following directions:

• Investigations of the plasma focus device properties (40 kJ input energies, at present giving yields up to 10¹⁰ neutrons/pulse) with Institute of Physics, Zemun
• High current quasistationary double stage plasma accelerator of new generation (≈ 300 kJ input energy). Applications to first wall interaction and plasma injections, with CENTER, Belgrade
• Experimental study of some molecular processes relevant to fusion edge plasma
• Development of appropriate spectroscopic and particle diagnostic methods
