Research activities:
Lodestar Research Corporation is active in several areas of plasma physics research, with a strong emphasis on fusion. Areas of theoretical work in fusion research include edge and scrape-off-layer stability and turbulence, ICRF-edge physics, MHD and advanced tokamak studies, energetic ion studies, rf wave propagation and intense laser-plasma interaction physics for inertial confinement. The theoretical undertakings are combined with an active involvement with experimental and technological groups.
