Research activities:
The primary activity at LBL on Fusion Energy is research on heavy ion induction linacs for use as inertial confinement fusion drivers. At the present time the neutral beam heating activity for magnetic confinement fusion is inactive, although the personnel and the experimental apparatus are maintained.
