Research activities:
In collaboration with UKAEA Fusion at Culham, work is being carried out on theoretical and computational modelling of electron Bernstein wave heating on the MAST experiment.

There is a substantial group working on magnetohydrodynamics, mainly directed towards problems of solar physics but with interests in related problems in laboratory plasmas.
