Theoretical Activities

Development of computer codes: eddy current codes, codes for the analysis of the time evolution of MHD equilibria for the identification of the plasma boundary in tokamaks and for the vertical stabilization. Non destructive evaluations.

Reactor Oriented Activities

Optimization of plasma scenario. Vertical stabilization. Plasma current and shape control. Identification of the plasma boundary. Assessment of the main effects of fast electromagnetic transients.

Experimental Activities

Use of neural networks. Non destructive testing. Fusion materials and technologies.
