Research activities:

1. Soft X-ray and EUV Plasma Spectroscopy Laboratory:
   • Spectroscopy of highly ionized heavy atoms: measurements and calculations of atomic quantities (RELAC and HULLAC Codes): Energy levels, oscillator strengths, excitation cross-sections
   • Atomic processes in plasma: excitation autoionization and dielectronic recombination
   • Plasma diagnostics, impurities, transport, periphery plasma investigation
   • Analysis of spectra from Electron Beam Ion Trap
   • Low-inductance vacuum spark and penning ionization discharge experiments
   • Construction of high resolution XUV spectrometers.
2. Plasma Physics Laboratory:
   • Plasma-wave interaction (theory)
   • Non-linear dynamics processes (theory)
   • High power subpicosecond laser experiment
   • Interaction ultrashort laser with matter, optical guiding and acceleration.
