Individuals participating in an Agency meeting are encouraged to arrive at the VIC one hour before commencement of the meeting on the first day of the meeting in order to allow sufficient time for registration and issuance of ground passes.
Upon arrival at Gate 1, meeting participants and visitors will be requested to identify themselves with their national passport or a valid official identification document.
The UN Pass Office will issue a ground pass with photo. Meeting participants should also bring their invitation letter to facilitate the process. Unannounced meeting participants or visitors will only be admitted to the VIC if they can produce evidence of the purpose of their visit or an invitation letter from the IAEA.
In the case of unannounced arrival, the UN Security Service shall obtain confirmation of their participation in a meeting or visit from the responsible IAEA staff member, which may delay the registration process. Meeting participants and visitors arriving by private car or taxi must also receive their grounds passes from the UN Pass Office at Gate 1 before entering the premises.
VIC parking permits for meeting participants may be obtained on the first day of the meeting mornings at Gate 1 or by calling extension 23104 or 21311 after 11 a.m.
